Man Intentionally Set Fire To Little League Equipment Sheds In South Jersey, Police Say

A Woodstown man was accused of intentionally setting fire to sheds at a Little League baseball complex in Williamstown, authorities said.

Anthony Lindsey, 43, was charged with arson and criminal mischief, the Monroe Township Police Department said in a news release on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

Officers responded to the Monroe Township Little League Complex on Church Street at around 1:26 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3. Baseball equipment was damaged in two storage sheds.

Investigators ruled the fire was arson and Lindsey was identified as the suspect. A warrant was issued for his arrest and U.S. Marshals arrested him on Monday, Nov. 4.

Lindsey was held in the Salem County Jail.
